What's the best part of fantasy sports? The draft of course! Gone are the days of just one draft in the summer, because now on Fanball, you can draft a new team multiple times per week in 2, 4, and 6-person leagues.
Here are some of the things you should know about Fanball Drafts:
- Our Draft style of game play pits you against a group of drafters in a small league
- Drafts last six rounds and take about 5-10 minutes to complete
- The draft order is randomly generated once the contest fills
- Our standard drafts allow 45 seconds for you to make a pick, once your timer runs out the system will auto-pick the next highest rated player in the queue
- The draft queue is based on our salary game prices for that given slate
- The player pool will consist of all players expected to be on active rosters for any team listed in the slate of games
- It's a snake draft, we're sorry if snakes scare you
- The team with the first pick in the first round gets the last pick in the second round and then the first pick again in the third round, etc.
- So again, it goes, 1-6, 6-1, 1-6, 6-1, 1-6, 6-1
- Indiana Jones also hates snakes
- Each player drafts a team of 6 players
- 1 quarterback
- 1 running back
- 1 wide receiver
- 1 tight end
- 2 flex players (RB/WR/TE)
- You are not required to draft your team in that positional order
- Rosters are required to have players from at least two different NFL games.
- We have two draft types on Fanball, Sit n' Go or Scheduled drafts
- Sit n' Go drafts begin two minutes after the final member enters the draft
- We highly recommend that you stay in front of your device for S&G drafts to make sure that you don't miss anything
- Scheduled drafts begin at a scheduled time, so it's not just a clever name.
- Sit n' Go drafts begin two minutes after the final member enters the draft
- Entry fees are deducted from your Fanball Wallet balance upon entering the contest. If the draft does not fill before the scheduled time or before the game set locks (for Sit n' Go Drafts) the contest will be canceled and users will be refunded their entry fee.
- Users can also cancel their draft entry if the contest has not yet filled. Once it's full, you're locked in
- Unfortunately there are no lineup edits during the draft or when it's completed. Once you draft a player he's yours, even if they are scratched because of injury or weather delay/cancellation, so make sure that you're not selecting Ki-Jana Carter (he doesn't play anymore).
- The scoring in the Draft game is the same as the other Fanball games.
